As the title states ive had a problem with my power windows since i received the car. Just recently my friend and i took the door panel off to investigate the problem. The previous owner seemed to have had the Power Window Amp tied down with a string to the connector. So i assume that is the problem, it gets contact and attempts to trigger it but doesn't register. I called Nissan and they said its around ** bucks for it but am wondering if there are any other places i can find it. Here is a picture.

If price is what your going for you can get them cheap on ebay like 25 bucks or so plus shipping otherwise all autoparts stores should carry replacements, dealers are always the most expensive route, but you know your getting genuine parts though.

Lol, every one I know who has had a 95 has replaced this amp, window motor, and switches. My self included. I read something about how the window stops when you roll it down with the switch by just pushing the switch once. It actually overloads the motor and kinda trips out to stop it, putting a large load on the whole circuit. Maybe thats why ive gone through driverside power window motors in my last 3 vehicles. Try a junkyard or Ebay.

I have an s13, but I'd assume they are similar. One of the contacts on my amp was friend within the box. I just reapplied some more sauter to the chip and viola, no more problems.
