my power window has been acting up lately..nothing wrong with the motor, but when i roll my window down, sometimes it won't roll back up... only solution i have figured out is hitting the window switch from the side a couple of times.. after doing so, window will roll back up.. one time, the window didn't go down when i opened the door... i should also add that there is a intermitent creaking sound when the window has reached full down or up before the motor stops, like the motor is still running when it should have already disengaged.. what gives? window switch costs $245..

It is the window motor, go have it replaced under warranty. I didn't have the window going up problem, but I had the creaking noise when it went up.

You need a window motor.

This is not uncommon, if it gets worse you will have to shut the door (hard) while holding the switch up.

ok so i bought a window regulator motor for $200... my drivers side is now ok... but my pax side is now acting up... i opened up the old driver motor and found the inside to be dirty which would probably cause a loss on connection.. so i opened up my pax motor, cleaned it up and viola, everything is as good as new... probably didn't have to buy the driver motor...

That sounds like a decent fix, we usually replace them to resolve any future complaints as just cleaning them does not work all the time and we try to keep people happy.

Just a side note when I replace a motor I always mark the current position of the window bolts using a Sharpie to make lining the bolts up easier. You need to be sure to check the Auto function before putting the door finisher on.

yep... i did the reset procedure... i installed the motors myself... really not a pita to replace... but hey.. i did opened up and replaced my defective radio/cd, and compared to that one, this was a walk in the park (my console has the factory nav)... and after that, i also opened up my gas tank and cleaned the fuel sending unit... my gas tank now shows full... really confident now in making repairs myself and save up on $$$$$...
