that setup is capable of putting 450+hp to the wheels. if you are only shooting for 400, i'd go with a bottom mount gt2871. anyways, the GT3076 won't hit full boost until 5000-5500 rpm. unless you have a built top end that can rev to 9k or so, that isn't going to be any fun at all.

`SR20DET Turbo Upgrade Package Builder Quantity in Basket: none Code: TURBO-BUILDER Price: $0.00 Shipping Weight: 45.00 pounds Select Turbocharger: Garret GT2871R .64 A/R Dual Ball Bearing +$1149 Garret GT2871R .86 A/R Dual Ball Bearing +$1149Select Turbo Manifold: Peak Performance Stainless T2 Bottom Mount Manifold +$399Select Turbo Line Kit: Circuit Sports S13 Bottom Mount Turbo Line Kit, Set of 3 lines w/ washers, uses stock block oil banjo bolt +$119Select Engine Fuel Management: Apexi Power FC w/ Commander SR20DET +$980Select Injectors: TiTek DENSO 550cc Side-feed Kit +$495

this is the other set up i am looking at, this one is probly the more realistic on, less expensive! but i cant decided which turbo i would want the .64 or .86 because i have read that the .86 loses a lot of torqe but only gains about 20 more horse power. but ten i have heard that the .86 is the only one that will give you 400 whp. that is that power that i want. but give me some input. choosing between these two turbo which would you pick!????

SO AFTER READING SOME OTHER FORUMs i decided to go with the .64 gt2871r turbo. and use the stock manifold and just have it honed and polished inside to create better air flow. does any one know if taking the heat sheild off of the em will make the motor bay much hotter? also i was thinkning about pianting the EM with some high trmp paint. because it is all oxidized on the outside. would paint stick?

I have only painted N/A headers using 1400deg stove heat (for wood burning stoves). You could try to use it on your manifold and as long as you dont get too lean i think you should be ok. Have you ever thought about getting a Jet-Hot coating?

what does type a/b mean for the nismo fuel regulator? You need to buy the adapter too right? What power can the gt2871r 86 a/r make? You can also make it external gated right?what topmount manifolds would fit it? After the gate is shut?

Thanks

They make two styles... one is remote mount the other is rail mount.

Add about 25whp to the 0.64 for the 0.86.

You can make it ext. gate, yes, but if you want ext. gate I would HIGHLY recommend the 3071R over the 2871R.

Thanks so which one would be good for a greddy manifold? B? and stock? A?

How comparable is the 3071r to the gt8271r? Power, fullboost? lag? Also what flange is it? t3?

Thanks

i ran the .86 and i loved it! the power FC is overkill. get an enthalpy tune instead.you will also need a z32 maf and a walbro fuel pump. thats also way to much to spend on injectors. get deatschwerks instead. go with the 740cc for $389

don't bother to port and polishing your head. for your power level it won't get you much bang for you buck. i also suggest that if you are going to run solid lifter, to get cams designed for it. and be prepared to reshim after 5000 miles.
