Add about 25whp to the 0.64 for the 0.86.
You can make it ext. gate, yes, but if you want ext. gate I would HIGHLY recommend the 3071R over the 2871R.

i ran the .86 and i loved it! the power FC is overkill. get an enthalpy tune instead.you will also need a z32 maf and a walbro fuel pump. thats also way to much to spend on injectors. get deatschwerks instead. go with the 740cc for $389idahotuner wrote:`SR20DET Turbo Upgrade Package Builder Quantity in Basket: none Code: TURBO-BUILDER Price: $0.00 Shipping Weight: 45.00 pounds Select Turbocharger: Garret GT2871R .64 A/R Dual Ball Bearing +$1149 Garret GT2871R .86 A/R Dual Ball Bearing +$1149Select Turbo Manifold: Peak Performance Stainless T2 Bottom Mount Manifold +$399Select Turbo Line Kit: Circuit Sports S13 Bottom Mount Turbo Line Kit, Set of 3 lines w/ washers, uses stock block oil banjo bolt +$119Select Engine Fuel Management: Apexi Power FC w/ Commander SR20DET +$980Select Injectors: TiTek DENSO 550cc Side-feed Kit +$495
this is the other set up i am looking at, this one is probly the more realistic on, less expensive! but i cant decided which turbo i would want the .64 or .86 because i have read that the .86 loses a lot of torqe but only gains about 20 more horse power. but ten i have heard that the .86 is the only one that will give you 400 whp. that is that power that i want. but give me some input. choosing between these two turbo which would you pick!????
don't bother to port and polishing your head. for your power level it won't get you much bang for you buck. i also suggest that if you are going to run solid lifter, to get cams designed for it. and be prepared to reshim after 5000 miles.idahotuner wrote:how high will my engine be able to rev with these upgrades.1.Tomei Solid Lifters_2.Brian Crower Stage 1 264/264 SR20DET Camshafts3.
