Power Transistor Unit

First off does anyyone know if the ptu on 91-94 s13 are the same as those on 90+ z32's?? I've read the z32 ones were prone to failure and required a recall (through 93). If this were the case Id be in the clear, hopefully. I just know that I need to replace my ptu and would like any info anyone has on it. I haven't had the time to try and locate it under the hood or source parts. So, does anyone know where this unit is located and how difficult it is to replace.. Also general pricing for a new/used unit would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Edit: is the ptu just the same as the ignition module?

Unplug old one, plug in new one.

They don't sell the old style PTU's anymore. All recalled and subsequent Z's use the newer sytle one.
