Power Tilt Issues

I wanted to see if anyone else has hd a problem with their power tilt. During the last maintenance call on my 09 LE, I noticed when I got back in the car that the power tilt was making a horrible grinding noise and moved with a very jerky motion if at all. The dealer said there was a service bulletin on this and the motor was replaced under warranty.

Well, It started again this weekend. So, it's back in the shop. Has anyone else experienced issues with their power tilt?

I had to have both motors replace (apparently there are two), and it was after the factory warranty expired, but luckily I had paid for the extended warranty. Mine just quit working altogther one day. Since repaired (about 6 months ago), works great.

Thanks for the reply. I think they only replaced one the first time it was in for repair. I will be sure to have them check / replace both this time. Hopefully that will take care of it.

My Murano is back. It was indeed the second motor (Tilt vs. telescopic) that malfunctioned this time. Both have now been replaced and I should be good to go.

If anyone else has this issue, I woul drecommend trying to get th edealer to replace both while you are there. It will just avoid another trip down the road.
