about a month ago i posted with a power surging problem, the boost gets to 7 psi and its boosting, but the power is on off on off, and it surges. i have replaced the head because of a stripped spark plug hole and i thought that would take care of it. but its back again. any suggestions>? this is what i called about today scott, but ti had to go to work, thanks.

sorry brandon couldnt take the call we were short handed today and it was pretty hectic after lunch. but I dont think I could a helped you much. dont know a hell of alot about your set up other then the fact its a non us engine with a turbo combination that was never introduced in the us. so my experiance with it is non exsistant. hit the boys up in forced induction forum. they probably know whats wrong off the top of their head they have delt with that set up quite often.

the bov is ok- i think. i also noticed that the throttle response is really delayed. so do these add up to anything?

the timing being off at the cam is a good point. you need to see if the air flow is responding quickly enough when opening the throttle cause it is the primary input to the ecm to control injector pulse width. does your timing advance properly when accelerating? agian dont know the exact specs on your set up but these 2 components are detrimental on launch and accel from cruise speeds.

Mine will do what your car does at any timing, just feel it less when its more advanced then retarded. It feels as if its a missfire. I am not running the O2 sensor yet (need to extend wires) and have only run the car for one day before it started doing it. Could plugs foul up in just one day? (smell gas during idle). I'll have to check my plugs later today after work. I think fuel getting into my oil has something to do with it too (oil change and it will smell like gas next day). All my O rings are good, I think its a leaky injector or warped fuel rail.
