power stutter

(93 5spd hatch)Clutch engagement a little weak 1st - 2nd and 2nd -3rd no pull until about 3000-3500rpm as soon as I hit that range the speed climbs but doesnt really feel like the straight forward all the way thru pull. 1st sometimes violently stutters for like a split second then goes away very quickly. Fuel problem??clutch??low transmission fluid?? what could this be??
