Ordering them right now. Decided to put it on the credit card so as to have enough money in my bank account to pay off the car loan later this month.

Hopefully they'll arrive and I'll have them on before it gets too cold to work on the car. I need a garage.

IBC any pics or updates on these? I'm wondering if I should get them and if so, install them before or after this winter season. Thoughts?

As of this afternoon, they hadn't arrived yet. I'm away for the weekend, so if they do come in, I won't see them until Sunday.

Wait til after. Enjoy the bright Zinc coating for as long as you can. After the first winter with mine I ended up painting them since the rears were starting to show rust.

They're in my living room. It's starting to get cold; if we get another warm spurt, I'll try to get them on. If not, it'll have to wait until Spring.

I installed these on my car in January, and so far the whole kit has worked great. Initial bite is good (much improved over my failing breaks before replacement anyway), and the ceramics have been doing a good job of not fading when i really get on them and dive into a corner (done once daily on the 1/4 mi straightaway up to my office with a sharp 90 turn at the end of the 1/4).

So far so good. :dblthumb:

Got them installed two weeks ago, finally. Seem fine. Do their job. I engine brake constantly, so have only rarely had an opportunity to stomp on the pedal.

When I did, it worked great. The fact that I didn't think I would stop on the line, let alone as far behind it as I did probably says it all.

^Wow that was almost a year! Thanks for the feedback, I have to overhaul my entire suspension and Im just about due for brakes again so I might just tackle it all in one shot while everything is dismantled.

Yeah, I bought them while my brakes were still good because of the bargain. Waited for them to go bad before installing.

I opted not to do the brakes at the moment, but thanks for the link. Instead, I am replacing all 4 corners struts/shocks and new boots. I have enough pad left to get me through the winter, Ill do them in the spring.

Nope. My front passenger side Eibach spring basically shattered so I have to replace that (under warranty), and while I have everything dismantled Im just going to do KYB struts. Figured while Im at it I might as well get it all done at once. 70,000 miles and I can basically push the suspension up and down with one hand. Was only going to do both fronts at first but went for all 4 corners over the brakes.

Not a bad choice. If your brakes are still good, it seems like this deal is recurring.
