Hey I was wondering if power steering was necessary after you did the sr20det swap. Is it worth the extra money to keep it or is it tolerable without the pump? What is your opinion?

All depends on you, can you tolerate the stiffer harder to turn steering wheel and ultra sensitive road feel?

<---No Power stearing : )

depends on your style of driving, if your a drifter, you need ps, if you are into grip driving, and feeling the road, no PS is for you : )

I might do it eventually, you need the SR pump and KA24DE lines pretty much. Which are fairly easy to find since all 240's came with PS.

Yeah, I drift in my old 240. Man one day the PS went out in the middle of a drift in the rain. It was still easy while moving at good speed, when the car got down to about 15mph on the sharper part of the turn, the wheel felt like it locked up and around I went. I like PS =).
