it's a PITA just like everything on these cars, it's tough to get to at both ends and the fluid loss makes a mess but it's not brain surgery

I pull these out all the time for credit at Z1. Its not that hard to get them out if you take your time and watch what your doing. The hardest part might be getting to the bolt that attaches the hose to the rack. I usually have to go through the drivers wheel well to get to it. Then you have a small 10mm bolt that clamps that hose and another hose together ( someone correct me if i'm wrong) and thats kinda hard to get to as well but you can get to it through the wheel well also. You will also see a small harness to disconnect for the hose also but becareful usually those wires are fragile and will disconnect if you pull on them. Then its basically pulling it through the suspension, undoing 2 more 10mm bolts for the clamps on the cross member and then unbolting the hose from the pump. Just reverse what you did and you should be good to go. Not that hard just TAKE YOUR TIME..

You think I'd be able to do it if I put the car on jackstands?? Or do I need to get lift

Easily done on ack stands, thats how I did mine. Hardest part I found was snaking the steel hose back onto the rack. If you get the Z1 reman hose, they come in 3 pieces, so it's easier to handle. Don't forget to unplug the pressure sensor first.

I agree with (itsa300zx) you can do it on jack stands. That harness i was talking about is the pressure sensor.
