okay guys...well my car has a new found issue. Something related to the power steering is squealing only when I initially turn on the car, crank the wheel to either a hard right or left, and accelerate somewhat hard. After the car is warmed up it does not squeal at all. When the car was parked last I spun the wheel around to the right & left and at the end of both turns it squealed a little. So what gives besides my wallet aching again???

Checked the fluid and is full and nice and pink looking and there is no apparent problem with the steering while driving and I don't seem to have any leaks as I have never filled up the power steering resivoir.

Cheers & Thanks for you input.

Belt tension and or new belt, but IIRC belts are less than 30k old? If the belts are less than 30K, its time to tighten the tensioner

Sounds like it is a little loose, but do not over tighten it as wear will increase dramatically.

If you have cooked the belt when on cold start and PS fluid is less viscous, might be best to replace it any way. Inspect it.

I had all new belts & new idler tensioner put on this past year....less than 10,000 miles ago so maybe something worked its way loose. I am just glad to hear that it is not my power steering pump that could be the problem. I will get under the hood and try to tighten a few things up. Thanks for the help...

Fluid good? Is it reg power steering fluid or OEM? Only use OEM or Mobile 1 transmission fluid. Remember that the PS pump will sqeal when sucking air due to being starved.

Well....it was not the power steering at all. I had a transmission line next to the belts with a small leak. I never noticed any fluid at all anywhere around the fan belts and always check over my car carefully so the other day...this small leak became a big leak and there went transmission fluid everywhere all over the belts. Since the fix of the transmission line....there is no more squealing at all....which was always around for the past 3 weeks. Now I have to go do a BG transmission flush since I have no idea what crappy transmission fluid they stuck in my car and the POS mechanic was so kind to overfill my transmission as it reads about a solid inch too high on the dip stick and still charge me $150 for who knows what crappy BS line he will give me if I go back there and argue. So off to BG transmission flush with new redline fluid...probably time anyway since I have no touched the Redline Syn fluid since installing the Level10 transmission 18 months ago.
