So i am in the midst of my dohc swap from sohc. I just picked up a dohc reservoir. I will most likely pick up dohc p/s lines soon anyways, but i cant find any at the moment for a good price.

What are the cons, other than the rerouting, to using single cam power steering lines with a dual cam reservoir with a ka24DE engine?

I searched and couldnt find an answer.

Thanks

the fact that sohc ps pump is on the opposite side as the dohc. seems to me that there would be ps lines running across the bay.

I just used some metric to AN adapters and earl's power steering hose with AN fittings, it's pretty simple. Two adapters on the rack (one w/ hose barb), one on the pump. High pressure line from rack to pump, rubber hose from reservoir to hose barb on rack.

$50-$75 depending on where you get the fittings (AN hose ends tend to be relatively expensive).
