I know 1991-1994 Q45t's have a little switch attached to the power steering cap that when the reservoir is low the HICAS light is triggered. Well I also know that the power steering system is a sealed system and fluid leaks and ruptures are rare if maintenance is regular on the system.
I myself am undecided on this because I check the power steering fluid more than once a week. But I just came up with the idea and wouldn't mind some input.
But is it worth adding the HICAS power steering cap to and non Q45t?

55 gallon drum in trunk with drip valve to replenish.
I just habitually check everything once per week, when I top off windshield washer, look under plenum and check oil/coolant bottle...............in t6he past the driveway was a good indicator.
