So I've decided to completely remove my power steering....I have already pulled the pump off of the block. I still have to pull the lines. What I am wondering is: Will not having any flow of "oil" to the steering column screw up my steering....I am contemplating running a closed loop line to both sides.....

Suck up just a little fluid into one side of the rack, then loop 'em. That way the rack will keep swishing the fluid back and fourth between the two sides, keeping everything lubed up.

Though with the 240SX, you might want to put it back on... I did this same thing on my S12 200SX (got rid of it because of bad hardlines), and it wasn't too bad, but I put it back on. A stock 240 weighs quite a bit more than my S12 too.
