Okay I took off my power steering assembly (belt, pump, bracket< etc.) and I mean off, everything. I pinched where the aluminum line runs up to the pump and rolled it shut. Its not air tight or anything but you get the idea.

My question is, is this bad for the rack and pinion assembly since the system was a closed loop system? whatever fluid I have left is in there. I took it off for weight and also it is not a necessaty of mine. The car is a project SPO race car.

Info is greatly appreciated....

at the 2 lines at the rack loop it back to it self. connect them to gether that way it is air tight incase you wanna add the system back.

that car is gonna be a mother to steer.

steering the car is actually not bad. Like quicksilvia sad, it gets easier every time you drive the car. On the race track it is a little harder than usual because of the g-forces in corners and the R compound tires.

Thanks guys,

Seth
