i did my search and it came up nill. if i mised somethin, please post a link. i'm having alot of whineing comeing from my car whenever i take a turn in either direction and the HICAS light is always on now. so i'm prety shure that my power steering pump is shot. my questions are: is it dificult to replace on my own or with a friend, is it expensive, how do i find out for sure that it is bad? THANKS in advance! please post a step by step how to.

Hmmm.... I'd check the fluid level first, then I'll check the tension of the power steering belt, if it's too lose, tighten it. Those are the most common problems. If it is your power steering pump, hicas be it, I think you're going to have some trouble locating one. Sorry to say. Anyway, if you do find one, it shouldn't take you more then 30 min to an hour to replace. Very easy swap.
