Power steering pump...

if your resovouar is still good, then you should be fine without a new one. i would just get the cardone one i guess if your tight on cash, but of course the best one would be oem.

make sure it is the pump too, dont want to spend money you dont have to

yea my reserve isnt even touched i guess its the pump itself, so i should get the cheaper one?

yeah, go ahead and get the cheaper power steering pump, its not to hard to replace, just make sure you refill the resivouir

the sounds starting to get worse, im pretty sure its the pump, its like loud when i turn the steering wheel, but if it is the belt where should i look?i think im gonna buy a pump soon

just grab ahold the belt ,while its not running, if it has excessive deflection its loose, should have no more then 1/2 an inch.

hey my bro used a stethescope (sp?) to hear the pump mechenism...and said "yup its the pump", thank goodness i bought one instead of ordering it now.i realized its 300 bucks, but they buy back the pump from you which is about 90 bucks:)thanks for everyone that helped
