power steering pump

ok so my power steering pump will not shut up lol i have it full of fluid always n it just wont stop making that noise and sometimes its like i have no power steering at all. this means its going out right? i was looking for it n im really really REALLY hoping i can get to it from under the car if i need to replace it... so if anyone could give me advice or tips on these z32 power steering pumps i would greatly appreciate it.

What kind of noise is it making? If you are sure it's coming from the pump then yeah it might be time to replace or rebuild it.

the belt looks fine to me. the noise is just that whining u hear if ur out of fluid n it gets pretty bad sometimes lol

what kind of fluid is in it?? is it ATF or Power steering fluid?? ATF is red usually

i use prestone wth stop leak haha its all i had laying around

I'd flush that PS fluid out man. I know somebody who put PS fluid in his Tacoma by accident and it started to leak 10x worse. And stopleak is great for clogging things up. It's kinda like having an air filter with a hole in it and stuffing the hole with seran wrap to close it up. Not the right way to do it.

Verify that it's your pump making the noise and then swap it out, and viola
