Ok well after we got my buddies Swap in we started looking at the stock bracket and the KA DOHC Power Steering Pump and we found the Bracket is much smaller than the section where the bolt runs through the power steering pump itself.

We figured it was because the SR was a Hicas model but the bad thing is the Hicas pump we modified to work has gone out already. So we are in a situation of what can we do?Options we have looked at are custom bracket or trim the bolt hole on the PS Pump so it will fit in the stock SR bracket. Is there a USDM PS Pump that will fit? Save us time.

i am not sure if you can do this or not, but have you looked to see if you can swap out the bracket with the one off of a ka24de?

Yea thats the first thing we looked at. Two problems. 1. Only one of the bolt holes that goes to the block match up. The other two are way off.2. the bracket for the KA24DE has a longer triangle piece off the bracket where one of the bolts goes into the block. This piece is hitting the turbo and what ever else is down there.

We thought of cutting that long piece off and trying to get two holes to line up but we also realized the KA bracket sits much lower than the SR bracket so it might cause a belt problem.
