Power Steering Pump Issues

My pump is fine... but it's loose... like main street hooker loose. it will be ok until I'm on throttle and if I turn while on throttle, I feel like it's going to pop off... I need to know how to put tension on the belt... but on my car, it doesn't seem to have a tensioner and my mount for the pump is solid... so I don't know how good it would do if it had one. I'm really confused. any advice?

the belt is loose... not the pump itself... excuse me. the belt is loose. I can't get tension on the belt.

is the tensioner maxed out?

get a slighty shorter belt if so, not an issue at all.

I don't know how... I don't know how to make it tighter... lol. I bought the car with the engine. I'm not sure how to tighten it... I just got it running. I'm good with engines. though. not much after that. pumps and belts and crap like that I'm not too knowledgable in "belts". so I'm clueless.

Still need help!

What kind of mechanism is on a CA18DET to put tension on the Power Steering Pump. I'm not sure how to do it. I'm not sure i have the tensioner at all. I really need to figure out how to tighten this belt up.

check the FSM it should tell you. the FSM is posted in the FAQ sticky IIRC
