Power Steering pulsing along with HICAS light flashing

Hello all. I have a 1994 Q45t and the power steering just started pulsing. It pulses in sync with the HICAS light. Searched and search the net and can't find ayones that's seen this. Can anyone give me a suggestion on what this might be?

As a standard practice we recommend that new members download their year's Factory Service Manual and spend 10-40 hours studying it to understand how systems work and the well described troubleshooting proceedures are.

You will see the HICAS and power steering share the same pump.

And do read the trunk of your car sometime.

Don't need to download the manual as I have a hard copy of it. BUT.... I tracked the problem to, of all things, a bad alternator. I thought about what changed right before and it was the headlights. The system started acting up right after I replaced the headlights with higher wattage bulbs. That must have pushed an already bad alternator over the edge and caused systems to start acting up. MAN is that thing a pain to swap. All better now.

If I wanted an electronic copy of my service manual, where would I find it?

Higher current draw bulbs are not a good thing on the Q45 LAN system.
