power steering pulley removal. help please

trying to figure out how to remove the pulley off the pump. what tools needed? any remove theirs and how do you do it?? need info as car is torn apart waiting for pulley to put steering all back in. please someone.

i used an impact gun and it came right off. if you dont have one try stopping by the local mechanics and see if he wont do it right quick.

not even needed why are you removing the pully anyway?

owell all you need is i think a 16 or 19 mm socket idr and a good breaker bar. Put somethen solid in the pully to keep it from turning

there is no nut to unscrew though otherwise i would haveand i need to take off my pulley cause my pump i just got is from an sr20 and from what i read i need to swap the mounting bracket and the pulley to the ka24de ones

ohh its a sr20 ps pump for your KA right? well you'd probably have better luck and answers in the sr20 motor forum. They will know more about the ps pumps for sr20s

it is probably pressed on you need a power steering pully puller or any kind of puller realler advance should have this tool on there loaner prog. to install you just put a big socket on it and beat the pulley on whatever pump

yea i have every pulley puller going and that thing won't budge, it's been sitting for a while so im guessing its seized, im just playin around with the one from the ka before i attempt to change the sr pulley
