power steering problem.

i just had a few questions about the Power steering pump. this is for a NEO6 RB25.

my pump is leaking from the pully. and i mean it gushes out. I was wondering if this pump is rebuildable. or is this just a seal that i can replace myself. or am i assed out and have to buy a whole new pump? if so is there any USDM pump that will match ours?

Rebuild it with new (metric) o-rings. They are cheap if you can find them. I got some from a hydraulic hose shop special order for like $2. The o-ring you are looking for is probably the big thick one buried deep in the front case, but it won't hurt to replace them all. However, in the (unlikely) event that it's not an o-ring and is actually a mechanical seal failure, you're on your own.

If you find a USDM pump that fits, many of us (especially those with HICAS RB20 pumps) would be very, very happy to hear of it.
