I have a 1992 Nissan 240sx, Basic bolt on mods. 2 wheel steering.
I am having difficulties removing the Pressure hose. I removed the top bolt (on the power steering pump) relatively easy. The lower part where your hard lines bolt up with a banjo bolt (i believe thats what it is called, it is a bolt with a hole straight through the middle that stays on the hardline) its stuck. I have cleaned it very well and tried wd-40 and grease. I cannot tighten it or loosen it. I have also tried removing the hardline all together by removing the other banjo bolt from the steering booster part by the steering column. Unfortunatly this did not work because that hardline is bolted to a part of the car with another hardline that runs to the passenger side of my car and i cannot figure out how to remove the clasp. I have thought about heating the metal end part on the old hose to expand it, but im not sure about that one. If you have any advice or ideas or techniques i dont know about, the help would be greatly appriciated. Thank you.
Michael
