I'm doing an SR20DET into my hardbody. I was able to figure out all of my problems except the power steering. Normally I would just get rid of power robbing components but this time it's a must, d21's are just to heavy. How do I make the sr lines work with my d21. The setup is the same as on the 240 so what works with that will work on mine, I just can't seem to find a good answer. I've seen people selling a so called conversion that has a line that goes all the way to the other side of the engine bay then horseshoes back to the steering rack. Their has got to be a better way.

Please help

you can make your own to suit your application. I made my own hi-pressure line. Here is my thread on fittings for some more infohttp://forums.nicoclub.com/zerothread?id=270476

normally on a 240, you swap for the lines out of a 91+ car.

It's one of the basics of learning the swap and is in every tutorial and walkthrough I've ever read.

he's got a pickup, so unless the pickup came with a dohc at one time, there will be no stock option.

If you have the time and patience, you could probably get something together with a combo of dohc 240 lines and your hardbody sohc lines, bent to suit.

I ended up making my own high pressure line. The return line is basically gravity feed (0 psi) so you can use 5/8" heater hose.

D21's heavy, you're joking right? A single cab weights less than an s13 coupe. The extended cab weights in just around 3100lbs w/ the 3.0l V6.

Try more like 4000, according to the sticker on the door.

Thanks for the info on building them custom with -6an fittings, looks like it will work great.

yes but the sticker on the door is when the truck has a full load and full cab not empty weight

^- this information is correct... The sticker on the door is weight capacity.
