Hmmm i was reading a LOT about rack pinion and ps systems, so let me do a run down:
Day 1 drifting, high revs, heat, something went wrong on the high pressure line, Builds up too much pressure BOOM, rubber hose part on the hardline blew up, pump keeps running, drains all the rack pinion remaining fluid (Reason for the rack to give into damage?), emphys the system by draining by the high pressure hole in the system......
Repair day: i put my new high pressure, start pump lots of whine, after a while i get smoke from below the pump, and the high pressure hose gets INCREDIBLY hot...... could it be that the rack is kind of blocked and its building too much pressure hence the hot vibrating high pressure line.... and the Relief valve on the PS pump is letting excess pressured fluid to drip and burn on the engine block?
LOL sry if it seems too damn analitical, i just wanna reeeeeaaalllyyyy spot the problem exactly, im gonna unplugg the high pressure line and do a cycled fluid run somehow, just to see if its flowing with pressure and to see if the pump whines i think that would help me
Edit: BINGO i think im right!, in the fsm where u put a pressure tester on the highpressure line, it says: If the shutoff valve is closed pressure may build on the line and to relief pressure causing abnormal oil temperature!

Steering rack woes!
