Ok. so my p/s pressure line broke. it has a tiny hole in it and all the fluid is leaking out. i went online to find a new one. i found in 2 options. and i dont know the difference between them. One has some kind of wire coming out of it and i attaches to the rest of the wire. basically it has a connector/ some sorta sensor i guess.here is the pic of the line im talking about:

and here is the other one w/o the sensor. http://i24.ebayimg.com/03/i/000/d3/2f/639d_1.JPG

will it change if i put the stainless steel one/shiny one instead of the oem one?wat difference will it make if any?

Thanks!!

mine seems to leak bad but maybe just not all the time... i did use some fluid with stopleak in it so maybe that helped some.... im just to cheap to spend the cash to fix it right now... my g35 is in shop right now too and right now it comes first

little tip for anyone out there... don't use stop leak crap.. i've worked at a canadian tire as a technical advisor for 4 years... stop leak is horrible!

screws up everything else! in 90% of cases

.. quick easy solutions cost 6.99$ + 4.99$

JB Weld + Brake cleaner..

1- drain out the system2- Clean area to repair with brake cleaner and with some sand paper3- mix JB Weld and path her up!!!4- let set overnight

i've used this on sending units, radiators, fuel lines, wiper arms... they have all lasted for over 3 years now and still counting.. execpt for the wiper arms... living on Montreal is hard on them lool
