1992 Nissan 240SX FB 5spd.

I am switching out a set of leaky power steering lines. I have everything out except for one very frustrating bolt. It is the bolt that attachese the power steering lines to the exhaust side just above where the lines go into the pinion. The bolt attaches the PS line bracket to the engine crossmember. The trouble is that there is about an 1" of clearance between the bolt and the side of the engine bay plus the PS lines that are being attached take up some room. The result is that I absolutely cannot get a socket wrench in there and I can only barely get a close ended wrench in there, but it's not very effective since I have to hunt for the hex head each time I reset my stroke.

I got it loose enough the bracket is loose and can even move some up and down the partially loosened bolt. I had to give up as it was getting late. My plan for tomorrow is to pick up a ratcheted close ended wrench and try again. That way I only have to hunt for the bolt once and have at it.

The reason I am posting this is that while I have a plan, I was wondering if anyone ran into this before and if they had a better idea. I am open to suggestions.

Naw, you're cool, not a d!ck at all. You said that polite enough. In any case that was the first solution I came up with so that's what I got. Now to get the time before dark to get to where the car is kept. I hate not having my own garage.
