My powersteering fluid is leaking. Where are the usual spots on the 240SX that fluids can leak out?

i have a problem with my powersteering fluid too. i just recently had to fill it up because i almost ran out. on my car it looks like its leaking out right where the hoses connect to the PS fluid reservoir, so some new hoses may be needed :( or i just need to re-tighten the hoses.

i dont know much about cars yet but one suggestion is to check the hoses connected to the power steering fluid reservoir and make sure they aren't damaged, and that they aren't loose either. and just follow the hoses from there and check the rest of the power steering setup making sure nothing has gone ary.

my 240 had a slow leak where the tube from the resivoir met the pump. I looked at it the other day and the clamp was loose... go figure.

you'll have to check the power steering system to figure out where it's leaking...often times, it's the hose because they tend to wear out....one way to find the leak would be to have someone turn the wheel while you're looking under the hood to find the leak, the engine would probably have to be on so that the power steering pump would pump the fluid
