I've got the omega power steering kit. I just have no clue where to start. This is my first z so any help would be great.

Welcome to Nico!

What year is your Z? Are you sure the leak is coming for the rack? Often the hoses or the copper washers at the fittings are the source of leaks. If the leak is at the rack are you running the proper fluid? these cars specify dexron type atf, it much thicker than standard power steering fluid and if you add regular power steering fluid to a system with a small leak it will get much worse fast! Assuming you have the correct fluid and that the leak is coming from the rack itself, take the rack out and take it apart, replace all the seals, basically that simple, there are videos on youtube for rebuilding s13 racks, basically the same process.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. But its a 87 and the guy i bought the car from told me that it leaks power steering fluid and that was it. I also just realized you're in the Louisville area too! Awesome!

Very typical problem with the Z, the work is all basic and straightforward, however, if you don't have the right tools and time on your hands best to just pay someone to do the job. Time vs. Money, I had mine done by a mechanic, I think it cost me $400 for installation but I live in SF Bay Area where labor rates are very high.
