Power steering kills my car

so when im sitting in my car, at idle i turn my car, and it dies...then i rev up my engine, and it dies out momentarily when i turn the wheel...it seems as long as im turning the wheel, my ps doesn't work..........HELP?

did you hook up the power steering sensor?

No, but it was working fine for like 3 months without it, then suddenly it doesn't at all. SO i removed the belt, and my car runs fine.

What could this be?

Seized bearing on ps pump preventing the engine from running smoothly?

So, replace the ps pump, and see what happens?

I saw on here somewhere that the ka24de pump works, but requires some modification, what mod?
