My power steering on my ka24de isn't working because i'm missing the joint outlet on the pump, so what I did was get another banjo bolt and bolted the high pressure line straight into the power steering pump bypassing the joint outlet, it doesn't work.. So I was wondering if the joint outlet was a necessary piece for the power steering to function properly.

or anyone know the special bolt design that comes out of the power steering that the banjo part of this part torques down on.

Apparently I looked around and searched, and a lot of people don't know what the joint outlet is, so here is a pic of it.

It has a flow regulator valve in the banjo bolt that holds the line to the pump. If you're missing one from a KA, it should be an easy part to find at a salvage yard or the cNICO lassifieds.
