Power Steering Issues

hey guys, i just got back from trinidad on wed. When i went to go drive my baby, cuz i missed her so much, i started her up, and realized i had absolutely no power steering! not only that, but the reservoir is completely empty. So i go to my job (auto supply store) and picked up some of this Lucas brand PS leak stop (cuz it's guaranteed to stop all leaks, and i figure i have a leak since theres no fluid anymore) and some ps fluid...i filled it up w/ a lil ps fluid, and bottle of the leak stop, and voila, power steering once again. BUT, the problem is, now it whines like a mother****er, and the steering feels a lil funny, like it's not power steering 100% of the time...on and off. I checked the reservoir after a test drive, and it's all foamy! eew. what is this crap? :help

you need more ps fluid. also you might have killed your PS already. since there was nothin in it.

but thats weird that it was empty when you got back. better check for leaks. but your ps belt might also be loose too. you could check that also
