power steering hose leaking

the power steering hose on my 92q was replaced with one that was made for me at a hose place. i believe it leaks from the threads, how can i check this(where does the hose end), and is this a diy?

You'll need to jack it up, find your leak, and follow it back up. Joe had the PS hose schematic posted somewhere in a thread awhile back. If you find the leak make sure a new crush washer was reinstalled, they can leak if reused too many times. It's really not very hard for a home mechanic to do; messy yes, technical no.
