Hi all,

I finally had time to pull out the Q and look where the damage is (It has been leaking PS fluid). Turns out there is a hose that is broken. Fine, I will change it, but am having a hard time figuring out on how to take it off?. I found a small pic of it in the FSM so you guys will have an idea of what I am talking about. here's the pic with the part circled in red

no Maxinix not the feed tube.

There's one at the top of the pump and goes down somewhere. It never connects to the reservoir.

If it is the large one, that is the low pressure one to the rack. Fittings just use a wrench, I think. I had the tech replace it when the new rack was installed.

Ooops! That was on the G50. Much the same for the FGY33, I am sure.

it is a large one that goes down to the rack. What might it be called? I called IOS Joe and our local Infiniti dealer and they all want the exact name of it.

Here's couple of pics of the hose in the Q. It's the big one in the "middle"

Never mind I found out the name of it. It's called Power Steering Pressure Hose that comes with the assembly. I was quoted 177 bucks from IOS. Ouch!

You can always opt to have it rebuilt by a local hydraulic hose repair place... I have an old thread here somewhere on my expereince.
