Until you can get a new line, try this for a fix.

What you will need.

1. Two worm style hose clamps that are about the same size diameter of your hard line.2. one empty aluminium soda can.3. If you can find it, a rubber bicycle tire inner-tube patch, but just a small piece. (This isn't necessary, but will help seal things better.)

Carefully remove the top and bottom of the soda can. From the top of the now exposed can, cut down about an inch. Now, cutting around the diameter of the can, make yourself a length of aluminium. It should be about 8 inches long, and an inch wide. Length doesn't really matter as you are going to be cutting off some of the length anyway.

Place the small piece of the bicycle patch over the hole.

Now, take that strip of aluminim and carefully wrap it around the hard line and patch that is covering the hole. Try to keep it as tight as possible so it forms nice and snug to the hard line, and to keep pressure on the patch.

After that, take your worm clamps and place them on the ends of the aluminium patch and proceed to clamp them down. Don't go to tight as you might mess up your threads on the clamps screw.

This should hold you for a short time till you can find a source to get a power steering line.

For that, I would suggest checking the RB forums classifieds sticky or even ebay.

I'll check to see if I have anything off of the spare engine I have.

If you have a shop in town that can make/repair hydraulic lines, take the line off and take it to them. The ones here (in Austin, TX) can fix the lines when it is the hard metal line that has cracked. Albeit power steering or a/c lines.
