I have a 1990 240sx Hatch. It has a DOHC swap and I just bought new lines and a pump. I installed... but I guess I need more lines than were included . I have no idea what they are called... and therefore have no idea how to get them. I think there should be 2 of them, both on the back side of the front axle. It looks like they should both plug in on the back side of the steering rack and then go further down the axle. If anyone could help me it would be appreciated. I'm looking for: possible solutions other than buying the lines, the name of them, and possibly where i can easily get them. I wish I had a scrapyard full of 240s near my house but that's not the case.

Hi,Ok, the pressure line is the line attached to the pump by the banjo fitting and screw, that also attaches to the power steering rack. The return line is the rubber hose connected to the p/s fluid reservior that attaches to the U-shaped cooler lines that also attach to the p/s rack. There is an other small rubber feed hose that goes from the p/s fluid reservior to the p/s pump.

I will e-mail you a picture of the routing for the DOHC KA p/s lines so you can better understand what I'm saying.

Hope this helps

Ya, I have all of that on there. but on the opposite side of where both of those connect, there are supposed to be 2 more lines that are just non-existent on my car. Maybe they are just supposed to be plugged? The fluid just shoots out those 2 holes. If you have a 240 and you're bored, just go look at the back side of your steering rack.

Oh ya, I forgot to mention those lines. Those are also pressure and return lines. I will send you another picture of those lines and how they route.
