Hi all,

I want to flush my ENTIRE power steering system...is there a recommended procedure as I'm not finding any information besides just changing the fluid in the pump tank.

Thanks,

Andy

Search for Snap-On ( or SnapOn) and Sun with flush. Several posts by me.

Did the search...thanks for the heads up. Think I'll try disconecting the return line and bleed and fill method.

Thanks,

Andy

The easiest way to do it is to get a turkey baster and suck out all the fluid you can, then refill... Then drive to work, then when you get home to it again. Do it until you go through 4 quarts or so and youll be good!!!

You can also flush it without a machine by disconnecting the return line from the resevior, running it into a container, then turn the wheel back and forth to get the old fluid out of the system (while keeping the resevior supplied with fresh fluid).
