Ok so apparently they don't want this in the KA forum so I have no idea where to put it... buthey guys, I need to install a power steering cooler cause my steering keeps cutting out when I'm autocrossing. I searched everywhere for a writeup on this with some specs but can't find anything anywhere, even 240sx tech! I've heard this is a common problem so I'm surprised there's nothin out there. Anyway, I have an s13 with a KADE. I was wondering if any one knows specs on what size hose I need to run for the return, and what lengths about I might need? I read somewhere that the hose is 3/8, but it looks like the line to the pump from the reservoir (high pressure?) is about 3/8, and the one coming from the rack to the reservoir is smaller, but I'm not sure the size. I figure I'll just mount it in front of the condenser.... if there's anything else I should know or any advice please let me know! I don't have a ton of technical experience, I'm just trying to learn! Here's the cooler I plan on getting:

Thanks for the help guys!

im assuming you have a manual trans car... an air cooled PS cooler isnt gunna help on auto-x that much due to the low speed... i suggest getting an automatic trans radiator and route the ps cooler loop thru the radiator as if it was the transmission lines... that way you'd have the that system working to your advantage.

A auto transmission cooler with a fan on it would do the trick on the return side. As for the line I think it's close to 3/8.

I would do this over the radiator, the radiator will also heat the ps fluid up when your not using it much.
