ok, so ive heard of nico members taking apart the sr powersteering pump (hicas) and removing the square shims in the pump to convert for use in a nonhicas engine swap. has anyone documented this? i need to know how to do this, preferably with picutres as well, because i juset took apart the sr ps pump and all kinds of bits and peices fell out, and i sort of need to know how to rebuild it.

its either this or i go manual steering, and lets just say i dont want to fight my car everyday to park.

If you only took off the back cover and the vanes fell out of there your all right because it is the back part of the pump you take the vanes out of anyway. If the whole pump fell apart you will have to download an FSM for 91-94 240sx which shows a breakdown of the pump dissassembled. Here is a guide with pictures of how to convert it.
