I am in the process of doing an SOHC to DOHC swap. It's kind of a long term project on top of the body work and restoring the rest of the 90 240sx. I'm at a point where I'm going to tackle the power steering swap and am coming up short at the junk yard.
I'm curious to know if there would be any problems if didn't use the hard line that ciculated the return fluid in front of the cross member and just had the return line go from the gear box to the resevoir? I know that the point of the hard line looping in front of the cross member is to act as a heat exchanger but does the fluid really get that hot?
Thanks
