Sorry, I was really kinda pi**ed off last night, just needed to vent some frustration. My car is an 89 240 SX. I just recently started driving it after it had been parked for nearly 2 yrs with a "blown" motor. I put a new battery in, wired in new bosche plugs for the fuel injectors, and presto magico, it ran fine. Then I had a power steering belt tensioner pulley lock up a few months ago, and that cost 85 bucks from nissan plus 15 for the new belt. So last night on my way home it threw the pwr steering belt which yanked one of my trans cooler lines loose. I checked the line and it is fine, so i put new clamps on and re-filled my trans. Now all I need to do is clean up all that d**m trans fluid from under the hood and underside of the car. Thanks for the offers of assistance.

Just went out today to confirm my trans fluid level and see if it runs ok. I was surprised to find out that it revs 200 rpm less at 85 mph now.......maybe it was a good thing and the old fluid was needing changed? Think it is getting oil/filter and trans fluid/ filter change next weekend.
