Sorrie but i am not sure where i should post this. And i have an s13 1991 if anyone was wondering.Heres a question that is very important. Well when i drift i usually abuse the power steering alot. This is so because of the amount of pressure used when counter steering. Well after i drift i can hear the power steering mechanism ask for more fluid. I can explain the sound but it is kinda like a mouning sound, like something is dieing. Well what should i do to prevent my power steering pump from dieing. The high pressure hose has already been replaced. That crap blew on me already. And i hear of this thing called "electronic power steering" How does this work? wouldent that be better theoretically becasue the non use of fuilds?

you shouldn't have to give the reservoir a drink after every session unless oyur boiling it off somehow. but first i would be sure there are no more leaks. if you have hicas then check all the plumbing to the rear. if you are 100% sure you have no leaks then maybe a fluid cooler could help. the mkIII supras have a big loop of hard line that runs in front of the radiator that acts like a cooler. it wouldn't be too hard to rerout the return line from the rack through some tubing and then back.

elec power steering?

Some hondas use electric power steering (NSX, S2000, Prelude, Insight, etc.). There's no parasitic loss with it, and its simpler.

powersteering on the 240 does have a cooling loop but not any fins or anything, it follow the front crossmember over twords the passenger side then back in the front, sounds like your leaking some because you hsould be loosing fluid each time just from drifting
