I own a 2003 nissan altima 3.5,Just had timing chain & chain tentioner replaced about a month & n a half ago.Seemed to be doing fine up until lastnight.I was backing out of my driveway & as i stopped to put into drive i then turned the stearing wheel slightly to take off & heard as well felt a loud & hard thump,so then as i began to pull forward i then noticed i had no more power steering,i parked it to investigate the problem and of course the long trail of power steering fluid.so i refilled the power steering started the car had friend slowly turn steering wheel back n fourth so i could try & locate where the fluid was leaking from.I noticed a drip from the passenger side but then I noticed a large flow of fluid leaking from the driver side,it was coming from the cv joint.I would very much appreciate any advise about this.

thankyou

As you have mentioned the issue is with CV joint you will have to replace the broken CV joint. You should also make sure befor that to check the hose pipe for any leaks which are connected to steering fluid container.
