So, I have a 95 sx (KA24DE motor) I just installed a new waterpump today and I went ahead and replaced the power stearing belt cause it was cracked and all that jazz. Well, I am at a loss for what the hell I did/didnt do and now when I took it for a test drive, when I turn the wheel, its making a clapping sound (almost like the fan was hitting something). Not when its straight. Its def coming from the pully assembly somewhere and I dont know what I did. Ive adjusted the tensioner on the power stearing case and everything, still not sure.Any ideas?

Upon start up everything sounds as it did before I replaced the water pump. Its just when turning my stearing wheel, you can def hear a high (almost turbo sound) screech/a bit of a clapping sound.)

The belt is not too tight. It was originally wicked tight till I adjusted it. Any help will be appreciated. Maybe I forgot to tighten the hinge bolt enough on the power stearing unit... Im still checkin over everything.

Check all bolts, check fluids, adjust belt. And then check for interference have a buddy turn the wheels side to side while you look into it.

Thanks. Just checked all the bolts... and I adjusted the belt again. Fluid is still full, and yet the hum is still coming. I know it cant be my power stearing pump suddenly going bad. It was fine before... I am totally missing something and I cant out my finger on it.
