Thanks in advance. I came home to a dead battery on a newly purchased 1994 Q45 (180K miles). Battery is new. After charging I hear clicking under the front seats and neither side will move in any position. Also door locks will not work. The power windows do work. The removal of the power window fuse apparently depowered the seats since the clicking stopped. I'm brand new to Infiniti ownership and and happy yo have found this site. Also do I understan that the timing chain is good to 250K miles?

I'm having the same problem as you, except no clicking and only the passenger side won't work(seat, door lock, window). In the FSM there are procedures to diagnose problems related with the LAN. It could be your BCM(body control module), but I would use the FSM to diagnose.

I bought a new BCM, for a problem I had with a door lock issue. It turned out to be a local module.

If you need one, I will make you a sweet deal on this one. I swapped mine out, and it worked fine.

The FSM diagnostic procedure is really cool.
