The drivers side power seat is not working (front-back movement) . The power backrest works fine. I get a clicking sound when i try to move the seat front or back. What might be wrong? Will i be able to fix it myself or will i have to spend big $$$

Thank you in advance.

Check to see that nothing is caught in the track.

Its possible the seat motor died? Some of the Infiniti Shop Manuals have been previously posted on this site. You may want to try a search.

I personally have purchased Shop Manuals for every vehicle that I have purchased over the past thirty years. I always found that I eventually saved more money by doing my own generally simple repairs over the cost of the manual.

if you need it work right now...best thing to do is tap with a screwdriver or lightly with a hammer on the gold part of the motor that is under the front of the seat while pushin the switch. might fix it for a while...but needs a new motor. the motor itself isn't too bad to change unless you wanna change the whole seat bottom

When mine stopped working, I had the dealer fix it. It was a bad switch...
