Searched
Just bought a 2003 G35 well under cost, but of course I'm finding a new problem everyday.
My latest problem is an issue with the driver seat power adjusters. I can't move my seat to the upright position. Every other direction works with no problem, but if I lay my seat back then I am forced to fiddle with the switch for about 5 minutes until it returns to a vertical position. If I pull the button up towards the sky and then push it forward gently it will bring the seat up.
My guess is that it's not the motor, it's not a fuse of any type, and the rod seems to be fine, I think the switch or contact may be corroded or spliced
Can anyone add any insight as to what the problem is, or how to fix it? Maybe someone knows the cost I may be looking at, or how to get down in there to clean it out.
Side note: Does the iPod center consol mount / satellite override work well. I am thinking about getting it.
Any suggested parts sites; aftermarket, factory...
