Okay, so, I just got my car back from the shop.

They replaced the engine.

When I got it back, the speedometer and RPM's gauges would only work if I revved the car above 2500RMPS, it has a brand new 200$ Duralast battery from autozone.

the neg. battery terminal has a slight crack in it, but it still connects.

Anyone know what the problem could be?

Thanks

I am not sure what you bought from the Duralast battery lineup for $200, but at that price I'd at least swap a cracked terminal.

I'd just take it back to the shop, they did the work and electrical gremlins are a *****. If one is not careful on the wiring, they very easily can be looking at twice the work (now 3x really) by having to uninstall everything and starting over.

Good luck with this, the worst feeling is paying for stuff that comes back wrong.
