Hi, I am new to the forum and recently purchased a 2005 Infiniti G35X (All wheel drive). I am checking into lowering kits, new wheels, engine performance and such.

So first, does anyone know how to lower an AWD car? Do I need just the springs? Do I need to buy coilovers? What do I need??? I will figure out the wheels later.

Next, what would be the best parts to help the performance of the engine? I have looked into turbo's and most are for the G35, but not the X. Can you put a turbo on an AWD car?? Any sugestions on where to buy one/install one?

Thanks you for any posts and help you can offer. I am not that educated in cars and the mechanics of them.

You can lower it, Usually people get the 350z springs for that. You probably can turbo the AWD, I think that the issues involved with it being for a RWD only is the transfer case and front diff giving clearance issues. If there isn't a kit modified to fit awd then you may want a supercharger. Or go all-out NA, with a mega intake manifold, cams, springs, headers, exhaust and ecm tune. Done right you can get to 320hp or more.

Um, done right the Stillen stage 4 SC is gonna be around 330. With cams and internals you can expect higher gains.

The Vortech SC you can expect around 400 whp.

I dunno about turbo manifolds fitting with the transfer case, but it depends on your HP goals and you budget that you're running. With enough money anything is possible.
